FEATURES:

Tegosolar® photovoltaic cells are made of triple junction thin-film amorphous silicon: each cell absorbs the blue, green, red light of the solar spectrum through its 3 distinct layers.

In this way the cells convert a wider spectrum of light into electricity than traditional modules because they produce energy with direct light but also in diffused light conditions, in example when the sun is low, when the sky is cloudy and when the cells are installed with unfavorable orientation and inclination.

BENEFITS

  • flexible, adaptable to any roof shape;
  • guarantee maximum design freedom to designers for roofs with high architectural characteristics;
  • light, therefore allow easy transport, simple assembly;
  • are installed by adherence to the roof, thus avoiding wind load, a very important aspect in the static verification of roof structures;
  • are resistant to hail (tested with hail of 25 mm in diameter at a speed of 23 m/s) and, therefore, are durable over time;
  • do not contain protective glass, an element potentially subject to breakage;
  • do not reflect;
  • can be walked on, for quick and easy roof inspection and maintenance;
  • are self-cleaning thanks to the external ETFE surface, a special ultra-resistant, non-stick and anti-reflective polymer that allows optimal absorption of sunlight, and has excellent protection characteristics of the underlying layers from both weight and water loads,
  • have a high production yield even under unfavourable orientation and inclination conditions, and are therefore suitable for applications on both high and low slope roofs;
  • easy to install with mechanical or thermal application;
  • applied by waterproofing experts, thus avoiding the risk of infiltrationi;
